Most companies either laminate or glue the polarized filter on the inside and outside of the lens, or they sandwich it between two pieces of lens material.
At Torch, we actually infuse the polarization filter inside the lens mold. Then we inject the lens material around the filter - so no glues or adhesives are used to make the lens stick together and cause distortion.
